Glen Macy

Glen Macy represents the fifth generation of providers at Macy and Sons in McMinnville, Oregon. He was born and raised in McMinnville, then went on to graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in humanities and a minor in business. After college, Glen took time to work and partake in numerous outdoor activities, which he thoroughly enjoys. Among his favorites are rafting, fishing, and hiking. During that time, he volunteered for various parks organizations to help build, maintain, and create new outdoor recreation areas. Glen graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with a degree in Funeral Service Education before coming back into the family business. “This is something I have always known I would like to do and feel it is an honor and a privilege to be of service to my community. I look forward to becoming an active member in the community and its various organizations that help make this a great place to live.” He and his wife enjoyed a honeymoon in Southeast Asia in 2016.

Melissa Porter

Melissa is the Office Specialist for the City of Pendleton Parks, Recreation & Olney Cemetery. She began her career in June 2013 as a temp employee, moving into a full-time position in October 2013. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in June 2002 from Eastern Oregon University. She is a born and raised Oregonian, having spent her entire life in Umatilla County. She is the proud mother to two children and resides in Adams, Oregon. She has served on the CAO Board since 2020.

JC Aubry

JC was born and raised in France in a small village of 650 people east of Paris. He went to school in France and graduated with a Masters in Operation Management from the ISERPA in Angers. He studied in San Diego, CA in 1997 and served in the French Air Force, based in Paris, Air Force Headquarters. In 1999, he moved back to the US and graduated from the University of Dallas with a Masters in Business Administration in Engineering and Technology. He moved to Oregon in 2002 and married Jennifer (Dallas, Oregon native). JC started work in the funeral profession in 2002 and became manager of several locations after a few months. After 19 years with Alderwoods, Service Corporation International, and Stonemor; JC has joined Clearstone Memorial Partners in Oregon as the Regional Vice President; his locations include Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Roseburg Memorial Gardens, Valley View Memorial, Hillcrest Memorial and Memory Gardens, Fir Lawn Memorial Park and Forest Lawn Cemetery. He serves on several advisory boards including Mount Hood Community College Funeral Service Education, and the Cemetery Association of Oregon. He is the proud father of four children: Caden, Cole, Chamonix, and Chase.

Noel Seats

Noel Seats has worked in the funeral industry for over 15 years. She started doing first calls and then quickly moved into an apprentice position at Peake Funeral Chapel in Milwaukie. After finishing her apprenticeship she became the Office Manager at Mt. Scott Funeral Home in Portland. She began working in her current position in Metro’s Historic Cemetery Program in 2013. Since working at Metro, Noel has developed a passion for historic cemeteries. She enjoys the unique landscape of the pioneer cemeteries and delights in discovering the stories of the historic people buried there. Noel grew up in Portland, Oregon. She is married and has two adorable young daughters that keep her very busy.

Christen Murray

Christen Murray is the Office Manager for Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home, in Portland, OR. She began her career in the industry in July 2012 as an Administrative Manager for Gable Funeral Chapel and Care Cremation Services. With an interest in learning about cemeteries she accepted an Office Manager position at Skyline Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in January 2015 and then moved to the Office Manager position at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Prior to her time in the funeral and cemetery industry, she worked for Tektronix for 15 years in manufacturing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and as a project coordinator. She earned an Associate’s of Science Degree in Complimentary Alternative Medicine from American College of Healthcare Sciences. Christen and her husband Gene have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of 3 children. In her free time she loves cooking, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

LeeAnn Ozbun-Friesz

LeeAnn Ozbun-Friesz has been in the funeral and cemetery industry for more than 20 years. She started her career with SCI in Eugene. In 2005, West Lawn Memorial Park was purchased by the Musgrove Family. She continued her cemetery career with the Musgrove Family. She was lead cemetery administrator and assisted in daily cemetery operations and creating policies and procedures for cemetery operations in tandem with the owners. She also assisted with creating new gardens within the cemeteries. Prior to her leaving, they were in the process of creating the new Jewish garden at West Lawn Memorial Park. In August 2019, her family relocated to the Portland area where she became employed with Portland Memorial Mausoleum. LeeAnn and her husband Kevin have been married for over 20 years. Both are native Oregonians. They have 3 children together. They enjoy fishing, rafting and family time.

Russell Hargrave

Russell Hargrave lives in Mosier, Oregon with his wife and two children. He enjoys the outdoor life, his job, and particularly raising a family. The rugged beauty of the land beckons him to play outdoors every day, as he and his brother did growing up on a small farm. However, when his younger brother died unexpectedly 10 years ago, he was unprepared for the grief. With the anguish from his brother’s death still palpable, Russell became faced with the question of where his mother, he, and his wife would be buried. After realizing they could continue to be a part of this beloved land, Russell became passionate about creating a lasting, natural place that could connect the living and dead. Russell’s career includes extensive experience in leadership, innovation, and business, working as an executive for high technology companies, and for the state of Oregon. He is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded two locally based companies.

Tawnia Trowbridge

Tawnia Trowbrige was born and raised in Oregon, she grew up in Sandy. Tawnia started working in the funeral and cemetery industry in 2005. Shortly after she started her Dad passed away, she knew then it was a calling for her to help others. She worked for Aldrewoods, SCI and Stonemor as a  family service manager, she served a funeral director apprenticeship at Wilhelm’s Portland Memorial and today Tawnia is the district manager for Dallas Cemetery District #4.
Tawnia married Justin Trowbridge (CAO Past President) in 2010 and has a son (Cameron). They also have seven dogs, five cats, chickens, goats, a pig, and a turkey. Tawnia enjoys spending time at home baking, taking pictures and having a good time with family and friends; one of her long time dream is to write childrens’ books.

Kim Morley

Kim Morley has joined the CAO as our new administrator, she has been enjoying semi-retirement after spending more than 20 years in the funeral home and cemetery industry as well as 15 years in the bowling business. Most recently she was the Western Washington Manager for SCI overseeing the day-to-day operations of 3 cemeteries and 7 funeral homes. Kim also served as a board member for the CAO and the State of Oregon Historic Cemetery Commission.
Kim lives in Tigard but loves to travel. Kim and her Husband Rob have 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 9 months to 17 years old. They definitely keep them running! But when they have some time for themselves, they enjoy golf, bowling and travel.
