Historic Cemeteries Program

The Oregon historic cemeteries program, created by the Oregon legislature, provides resources including grants to people and organizations caring for the cemeteries. Any cemetery that has at least one burial of a person who died before that date that is 75 years before the current date and is listed with Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries, is historic.

Oregon Funeral Director Association

MHCC Funeral Service Education

The Funeral Service Program at Mt. Hood Community College has been active since 1970, and prepares students for the diverse needs within the industry. Students will be exposed to a curriculum that covers a wide variety of topics, including embalming, cremation, microbiology, pathology, funeral directing, counseling and management.
